Hi my name is John and I am a fully qualified driving instructor providing driving lessons in Rutherglen, Burnside, Cambuslang, Carmyle, East Kilbride, Shawlands, Mount Florida, Clarkston, Shettleston, Bailleston , Easterhouse and surrounding areas. I have been trained in the LDC school of driving which is renowned and admired within the Driver Training world our aim is to pass these skills onto all our pupils.
You will learn skills for life as a driver with Pass Time, we provide patient and friendly driving instruction covering beginner lessons, refresher training for fully qualified drivers and for drivers who may have lost their licence for whatever reason.
Pass Time Driver Training has a high level of 1st time pass rates (see testimonials) and aims to prepare drivers for the road ahead. We aim to take you from your first lesson, right through and beyond test standard, helping you go the extra mile!
I can collect you from your Home, Work, College or University for each lesson and finish lesson wherever suits. Tuition is provided in a structured manner, one which is tailored to your individual needs and pace of learning.
At Pass Time we take safety extremely serious. If you get 6 penalty points in your first 2 years of passing practical test, you will lose your license. And you need to start the whole process again to get the license back, starting from theory.
Statistically, young drivers are more likely to take a number of the deadliest risks on our roads, including speeding, overtaking blind, driving on drugs, and not belting up. Young drivers, and especially young men, are more likely to seek thrills from driving fast and cornering at high speed than older drivers.
One in five new drivers has a crash within six months of passing their test.

Younger drivers are likely to be over-confident
Young people quickly pick up the physical skills of driving and, as a result, feel they have mastered it and are subsequently very confident about their driving ability. This means young drivers may drive unsafely, but think that they are actually in control. Many young people admit they often feel they are immortal and that they think crashes only happen to other people
I was looking to take some Motorway and City Center driving lessons as I share a car with my mum and she insisted I do this before she let me use her car. I chose Pass Time simply because I liked the car but as it turned out John my instructor was very nice, very reliable and made me feel at ease whilst in the car. I took a block of 8 lessons and at the end of it felt very confident about driving basically anywhere.
